Singharmony.com Inc. is the passion of James E. (Jim) Taylor its founder and owner. Jim has sung in a number of choirs and choruses over the years and, when he was learning a part, had often wished to have available the kind of learning/rehearsal aid he is now producing. "When I was learning to sing the bass line of the Messiah choruses, I made a teaching aid just for my own benefit with the help of another bass singer who already knew the work. It greatly sped up my learning process, and fueled my desire to produce recordings designed specifically to teach singers a harmony line. I developed the Hear and Singharmony™ recording method as a refinement of my initial process because I believe it represents the best possible technique for producing teaching/rehearsal recordings."

It is our desire to eventually produce Hear and Singharmony™ recordings of every conceivable type of music that is sung in harmony, from choral masterpieces to barbershop quartet classics, to pop, folk, do-wop, world music and even Gregorian chant. "I think that singing in harmony is one of the great joys of life," says Jim. "When all the voices come together and hit the notes just right, it can send shivers up and down your spine; there is no feeling quite like it. This is a joy I would like to bring to more people who haven't yet experienced it. I think the world will be a better place if more people know, first-hand, the delight and connectedness to other people that can be achieved through singing together in harmony."
